If you are looking for an easy, but beautiful hike, Cress Creek Nature Trail in Madison County is the perfect place to go!
Most of the hike is paved and stroller/wheel chair friendly!
We had made our way out that direction to do some huckleberry picking, but the berries weren’t quite ready, so we decided to drive around when we stumbled across Cress Creek. Since we were already dressed for foraging we thought it would be fun to walk around with the kids!
Our kids loved the hike and especially the Little bridge right across from the trail.
It was so fun to see so many types of landscape in one area. You get the full scope of East Idaho in one trail! Rivers, greenery, dessert rock and farmland all In one place! If you are ever bored in rexburg, we recommend Cress Creek!
